Module 1: What You Will Learn
Over the course of the year you will be learning many aspects of librarianship. Working with books is only a part of what you will do; you will also complete lessons through this Library Practice learning site. After Module 4 you will begin applying what you have learned by working for the library as an assistant. Each day you will complete your daily checklist of duties and other special projects as needed to keep the library functioning and clean. Think of your work here as more of a job than a class, as that is how I will be grading you. I expect you to show initiative, attention to detail, and professionalism at all times.
In this course, you will be expected to work towards mastery of the following standards:
Model School Library Standards for Students
Content Standards Grade 9-12
